Brisbane Day-Trip (Part 1) - Surfers Paradise to Nerang Train Station

Brisbane is only an hour away from Gold Coast by train. If you're feeling adventurous, you should consider taking a day-trip to Queensland's capital city.

The nearest train station to Surfers Paradise is Nerang Station. The journey to Nerang station is interesting too because the bus passes through Chevron Island and other suburbs, so you will get to see something new. To get there, you will need to take bus no. 740 from the bus stop next to Helm Bar on Ferny Avenue (Helm Bar is next to the Vibe Hotel). There is a timetable for this bus route.
