Entrance of Coles |
Coles supermarket is one of the best supermarkets I’ve ever seen! There’s ample space to walk with trolleys, a wide product range, quality produce and cheaper prices.
Trolley bay at Coles' entrance |
The Coles Surfers Paradise outlet is in Chevron Renaissance.
Coles' produce is very fresh, no wonder why MasterChef Australia prefers their products! The MasterChef logo hangs from the ceiling.
Red bell peppers |
I've never seen bell peppers that red and fresh in Singapore! It looked like as if they were just picked from the farm. An interesting fact is that they are from Queensland.
Yellow and purple cauliflower |
It's a fun food field trip, learning about the varieties of vegetables grown locally, without going to a farm.
This is my favourite picture – rows of shiny apples. They are
the freshest apples and it’s very pleasing to the eye! It’s a good fruit to
bring along to the beach. These fruits are of local produce too.
Look at the amount of space to venture around Coles! The
fruits are to the left, while the cheese section is to the right. Cheese lovers’
paradise!
Another favourite of mine – the baked goods! They are freshly
baked every day. Fantastic for tea. I enjoyed the chocolate muffins and cookies.
Cake section. The cakes looked really delicious! There are boxes
of small cakes too. The cakes can be used as birthday cakes.
The milk section is on the right and drinks as special items
on the left.

The
noodles section. Coles sells different types of noodles, including Maggi noodles.
The Maggi noodles we bought are made in Malaysia. Their mi goreng Fusian
noodles are sold in both bags and cups. There are other noodles as well with a
variety of other flavours.
Maggi mi goreng Fusian noodles, hot and spicy flavour. |
Although the noodles known as the hot and spicy flavour, it’s mild to the Asian taste buds.
Coles has an amazing programme in which shoppers can donate
food to the needy. You can make a positive impact on people’s lives, regardless
of whether you’re on holiday or a living in the Gold Coast.
Below the front of the receipt is something known as ‘docket
deals’. In this case, it’s a deal with Liquorland.
Don’t throw your receipt away, there are coupons printed
behind it!
It’s a 5 minute leisure walk to the beach from Coles.
Coles is an ideal option if you’re on a limited budget. Eat
well for less.
